Alberobello

Alberobello, in the province of Bari, is famous for its trulli, recognized by UNESCO. The Monti and Aia Piccola districts, completely made up of trulli on hills, represent the historic center. This fairytale city is an international tourist destination.

The Church of Sant'Antonio is located in the Rione Monte, an area of Alberobello with over 1500 trulli used as holiday homes. Aia Piccola, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, hosts 450 trulli and was originally an area for wheat threshing. Alberobello is 43 km from Ostuni, reachable in about 40 minutes by car from our agriturismo. Events include the Folk Festival of the City of Trulli in August and the Feast of the Holy Doctors Damiano and Cosma in September.
